He researches, scouts, and photographs, doing the legwork of evaluation, then shows you the properties that fit best. He doesn't just find Locations, he negotiates for use of a property, sets them up, and manages them. Local property owners know him well. Film commissions and permit offices trust and respect him.

Jody is Location Manager for the acclaimed feature film "The Peanut Butter Falcon", for which he and his team were nominated for "Outstanding Locations In A Contemporary Film" by the Location Managers Guild International (LMGI), an award that is best described as the Oscar for film locations. He directs, produces, and manages locations for film and television, including the Emmy-Nominated HULU television series "The Act", the NBC television series "Council of Dads", and the Apple TV Studios miniseries "Manhunt". Jody also managed locations for director Barry Levinson's most recent film, "The Survivor", and also "Emancipation", "Halloween Ends", "Christine", "Lizzie", "The Do-Over", "Magic Mike XXL", "Daisy Winters", and "Abraham Lincoln vs Zombies". Through the company Savannah Location Services, Jody and his filmmaking partner Anthony Paderewski offer productions the most experienced location specialists in the coastal Southeast, as well as rent quality location rental gear to outfit any project. Jody works most often in Georgia, and has enjoyed watching film and television production grow around him into what it is today. Born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, he lives in Savannah with his wife Sarah and children Finn and Talon. Telling important stories, and nurturing an idea from concept to completed vision, is his passion.
