I started sound mixing full time in NYC in 2005. I have worked all over the country and sometimes out of it. I have a fantastic crew who are all local 491. I also have two full mixing carts (14 channel/ Sound Devices 688s) in case second unit is needed and also two ENG bags ((Sound Devices 663 (6 Channels) and 788T (10 Channels)) for any driving shots or situations where we need to be on the move quickly and getting a cart to the location is not the most efficient use of time. As you can see from my resume and my IMDB I split my time between Reality/Docs and Feature Films; although recently scripted television and Features have been my main focus recently. The reason I mention my reality work is that I am no stranger to moving quickly and problem solving on the fly and working in extreme conditions from Naked and Afraid (117 degrees most days) and Ice Holes (-20 most days). I also have many specialty items that most mixers don't have, i.e. earwigs, VOG, and lectro micro transmitters (about the size of a book of matches).
